That day, we climbed the mango tree until my sister Jana scraped her knee. We played hopscotch on the concrete using rocks to draw on the street. Daddy taught us how to shoot marbles in the dirt. Johnny lost and was very hurt. We made mud-pies and fed them to all the guys. We spinned and sang to the beat of our own drum, There’s a brown girl in the ring. Sha-la-la-la-la. Her drawings were beautiful and showed how strong she was. One day, there was an art contest in her town. Maya was scared to enter, but she remembered what Nana Elena told her. They help her find her family and she is happy again. Cooper dances at the Disney Jr. Dance Party and Doc Mc Stuff-ins fixes frosty by making it snow at the dance party! Cooper and Momma ride Maters junk yard jamboree and laugh a lot! Cooper gets to eat a big chocolate ice cream cone he is so happy. They end the day by Cooper running on a grassy hill listening to live music at down town Disney. It was such a magical day.
