Aspen is still a little nervous for Halloween but she takes her mommy's hand and goes out trick or treating. Aspen see's so many children dressed up in all sorts of costumes. A little boy in a dinosaur costume comes up to Aspen and tells her he likes her costume. Aspen looks up at her mommy and say "Mommy I think I love Halloween!" Aspen spent the rest of the night trick or treating filling up her basket with all sorts of candy

Lily and Harlan wake up and run downstairs. Abuelo is in the kitchen, sipping his coffee. “Morning hugs and kisses!” Abuelo says. One day the library media center had an unwelcomed visitor. This visitor was not an ordinary human. This visitor was not even human at all. It was from Mars. It was Martian. And it was a fly. Not a little fly that we see buzzing around out doors at picnics trying to land on juicy watermelons. But a huge fly. Almost bigger than the hand of a Pre K student. This fly was from Mars and it loved to read books. So, one day when the door to the library media center was left open by a student, this Martian fly flew right in. He was in fly heaven. He went from book to book and read how to live on Earth. What to eat to not make his belly hurt. And how to avoid humans. He was having the time of his life. Until one day, he made a big mistake. The media specialist and her assistant Miss Bee and Miss Crystal saw him in the nonfiction section. They didn't know that he was an alien. They assumed he was a mutated fly that was so big that he might bite one of their students. No matter how hard they tried they were unable to catch the fly. Soon, they gave up because they had a job to do and that was to make sure all students could come in and check out great books to read as well as help students with their Chromebooks. So Miss Bee decided to trap the fly in another room so no student could be harm by the fearsome creature.

“The Kind Monster” tells the story of Huggles, a big, furry monster with a kind heart who lives in the Misty Meadow. Despite his gentle nature, the animals fear him because of his large size and sharp teeth. Huggles longs to make friends but is constantly shunned. One day, he saves a mouse from a thorn bush, catches a bird's nest in a storm, and helps a fox stuck in a hole, showing the animals his kindness. Gradually, they realize Huggles is not scary but kind-hearted. Huggles and the animals become friends, playing together and helping each other. In a storm, Huggles even shelters the animals, proving that kindness is more important than appearance. The animals learn to embrace him and share his kindness with others, with the story ending on a message that kindness is about the good you do, not how you look.

In a big, green jungle, there was a little boy named Mowgli. He was raised by wolves and had many animal friends. One day, a wise panther named Bagheera found Mowgli in the jungle. He decided to take Mowgli to the man-village for safety. On their journey, they met a fun-loving bear named Baloo. Baloo and Bagheera helped and protected Mowgli from a mean tiger named Shere Khan who wanted to harm him. Mowgli learned many jungle lessons from Baloo and Bagheera. He discovered that the jungle was full of friends, like a snake named Kaa and a group of lively monkeys. Despite the adventures, Mowgli missed the jungle. When Shere Khan returned, Mowgli decided to face him with the help of his animal friends. In the end, Mowgli bravely stood up to Shere Khan and scared him away. Mowgli realized that the jungle was his home, and he chose to stay with his animal family. And so, Mowgli lived happily in the jungle, surrounded by his animal friends who loved and cared for him.
